About
This darling Marco Island home with a coastal vibe throughout has been recently updated with designer finishes and high-end furniture. It has a gorgeous open-concept layout that provides open areas for lounging and three quiet bedrooms for privacy.
Pull into a private stone driveway and follow the path or ramp directly to the front porch. The spacious and shady front porch is perfect for morning coffee at the outdoor dining table or in the two porch loungers.
The front French doors open up wide into the home. Light hardwood floors and white walls welcome you in. French doors to your left open to a quiet office featuring wooden shelving units, a handcrafted desk with matching chairs, and unique beach-themed accents.
From the front door, the home opens up into the kitchen. This exceptional space features white walls, a sleek white center island with bistro-style seats, and a bright blue tile backsplash. Complete with stainless steel appliances, expansive white granite counters with streaks of gray, and custom cabinets. Use the gas stove to cook homemade meals at home or use the microwave to heat up leftovers from the beach cafe down the street. The center island provides plenty of meal prep space and has five bar stools for a comfortable place to sit. The kitchen flows effortlessly into the dining area featuring a glass-top table and seating for four.
From the dining room, you can step right into the main living room. This space is surrounded by windows the overlook the pool and gets a lot of sunlight in the afternoon. The soft blue sofa and the oversized armchair both offer a great view of the wall-mounted TV. Sliding glass doors lead from this living room out onto the completely enclosed porch area.
There are three private bedrooms spread out throughout the home. The main bedroom is white, with earth accents. There is a King size bed in the middle of the room with nightstands on each side. Design details like hanging plants, a full-size mirror, and locally inspired artwork, bring this whole room together. The main bathroom has a Roman soaking tub, bold blue tile work, custom vanity, double sinks, and built-in wall storage. After a long day at the beach, come rinse off in a stunning glass-enclosed shower, complete with rain shower features.
The second bedroom is located right off of the living room and has a Queen size bed. This sunny bedroom is a bright mix of blues and yellows. Bedroom three features a modern bunk with a twin bed on the bottom and a full-on top. Built-in stairs lead right to the top bunk, making it easy and safe to get into bed. A bean bag chair in the corner is perfect for story time.
The family bathroom, right next to bedrooms two and three, has a tiled walk-in shower behind glass doors, a custom vanity, and plenty of hidden storage. A third bathroom, easily accessible from the porch, features fun beach-themed accents, a bold blue backsplash, and modern light fixtures.
A full-size laundry room, just off the main living space, features a high-end washer and dryer, along with plenty of space to fold, iron, and organize all of your clothes.
The gorgeous back porch looks out over the pool and provides plenty of seats in the shade. Stairs lead from the patio to the pool. In one corner of the pool deck, you’ll find more cushioned lounge furniture under a cabana-style umbrella and an outdoor storage bin filled with pool floats and toys. The private pool sits under a screened-in enclosure and backs up to thick greenery, so you can play in privacy. There’s also a grill out on the pool deck, so you can grill your favorites by the pool.
This house is great in a lot of ways. Close to tiger tail beach (a bike ride away) but this house has no bikes, which is just silly. Also, although the house is crisply and beautifully redone, there is an unfortunate lack of furniture. Dining room table seats four (!). One small couch and one chair in living room--we had four people staying, so I sat on the floor a lot. Outdoor porch had one love seat. There is plenty of empty livable space in this house, the owners just need to furnish it for comfortable living.
