Somerset 805, Marco Island Vacation Rental

My wife and I couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at Somerset #805. We were also extremely satisfied with David and the staff at Island Escapes. David was very responsive to our questions and requests. The condo was just as photographed and represented by Island Escapes. It was spacious, well appointed, clean, the location is excellent and the views from the large balcony are outstanding. I would strongly recommend this property to a family member or friend.

Very pleased with condo, description and pictures accurate. Well stocked from the kitchen to linen and the use of the storage locker for the beach was a plus. Walking distance to many great restaurants. Property mangers were very professional. Only knock was the unit A/C, while it did work, I would have liked to set it lower for sleeping....that is an issue that could be fixed. I would stay there again.

The Somerset is a perfect place to stay when vacationing on Marco Island! A gated, beachfront property located on South Collier Boulevard, it is attractive, convenient to shopping and dining, quiet and safe. It has plenty of parking, tennis courts, a nice workout room, a private pool and extra storage space. Unit 805 has a beautiful view of the beach and sunsets. The primary bedroom has balcony access and a spacious adjacent bathroom with two vanities, a large shower and closet and plenty of storage space. The second bedroom has twin beds, and a small, adjacent, single-vanity bathroom accessible from the front rooms. Each bedroom has a television. The dining area is cozy and the living room has plenty of seating for watching television or conversation. The kitchen has plenty of dishes, glassware, utensils and appliances. The washer/dryer are apartment-sized and work well as does the air conditioning. There is a sitting room in the front we used for extra storage. The balcony has plenty of seating for watching sunsets. This condo was very comfortable! We would definitely return and we highly recommend it!

Overall a very nice family vacation and very nice condo. AC was not working properly the first day we were there but they did get someone out that night to get it fixed. Other minor issues but certainly not enough for us not to stay there again... water pressure in master bedroom bath sinks was low and both sinks drained very slowly... garbage disposal did not work in kitchen sink. It would be nice if they switched out the 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom to another king or queen. Our 21 yr old daughter and 17 yr old son found the beds to be a bit small. Definitely would stay there again, just needs a few small maintenance items addressed and the owner was very accommodating in letting us do a monday to monday rental week.

Excellent vacation. Beautiful view, immaculate, tastefully decorated. All as advertised. A few recommendations. New toaster, bath mats for both baths, large bar of soap both baths, trash can for smaller bath, dresser to store clothes in smaller bedroom.

Somerset 805 is a beautiful, well kept and well equiped condo. The decorator did a great job in selecting furnishings. Everything is beautiful.
Island Escapes is the most responsive agency I have dealt with so far in my many years coming to Marco Island. We had an A/C problem which was dealt with within 1 1/2 hours. Great follow up to make sure eveything was taken care of and working as it should.

My family enjoyed this condo a lot! The location was great for our two teenagers to check out mini golf, good eats (including the ice cream shop) and stores in walking distance. Though we didn't take advantage there were quite a few water activities you could take advantage of at the Marriott just a few buildings down. The condo was clean and spacious for us. The extras like beach chairs and beach pull cart were huge for us! There were boogie boards and a few others things that I'm sure another family would benefit from. Thanks again for a great stay!

Very clean, location wonderful, amenities great. Close restaurants. Everglades, Craig Cats. Great shopping. Esplanade 3 Restaurants, DeVince's, Nacho Mammas, Marco Brewery, Kretch's, Cocomo's, Stan's Idle Hour, Paradise Found, Little Bar, Sand Bar great places to eat.

Beautiful 2 Br Beachfront condo Great location (walkable to restaurants), and extremely clean. Loved the lanai which was great for sitting while having your morning coffee, viewing nightly sunsets and simply enjoying the beautiful Gulf of Mexico!! The only recommendation I would have would be new beach chairs...the existing ones were uncomfortable. I look forward to staying in this condo again in the future!!
