The Rookery at Marco

The Rookery at Marco has over-sized and receptive greens, generous fairways, five sets of tees, and immaculate turf conditions. Designed by renowned golf course architect Joe Lee, the course features 74 sand bunkers and 45 acres of lakes with water coming into play on 15 holes. There's a 14-acre practice facility a luxurious clubhouse with a fully-equipped golf shop, and a comfortable dining area for breakfast or lunch. The Rookery is a member of the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program. Coupling golf and nature together creates a casual and relaxed atmosphere so that you can truly break away from life's demands.

Lely Resort

There are three championship golf courses at Lely and no community in Southwest Florida can match Lely Resort's 54 holes of championship golf, designed by some of the best in the game. Robert Trent Jones Sr., the world's most prolific golf architect, designed the Flamingo Island Golf Course. The Mustang Golf Club Course reflects the character of its creator, PGA Senior Tour star Lee Trevino/Wm. Graves, a serious but fun par-72 course where one can recover from a bad shot but still find a challenge. Both the Flamingo and Mustang courses are open to the public. The Classics at Lely Resort Golf & Country Club was designed by Gary Player, one of the game's only four grand slam winners. It combines the beauty of the surroundings with holes that are both friendly and challenging, the Classics is a private members-only course. Membership in the private Classics course allows members to play all three Lely Resort golf courses.

Hammock Bay Golf Course

Hammock Bay Golf Course was designed with an emphasis on showcasing the natural beauty of the local environment. The club has recently reopened after a $4.8 million renovation of the greens that saw PlatinumTE paspalum turfgrass installed, resulting in some excellent putting surfaces.

Designed by Peter Jacobsen and Jim Hardy, this par-72 championship course provides the perfect setting for golf - rolling terrain, oak tree-lined fairways, lots of water and well-protected greens summarise the layout. At just short of 7,000 yards from the back tees, it is a true challenge but with seven teeing options, golfers of all abilities can enjoy a day at Hammock Bay.
